Amber eyes trail along the path’s edge. It’s dark, and the shadows tend to play tricks with the mind at this time of night. One flexes and tilts, a black eye lid peeling away to reveal a glowing white sclera.

It takes a moment for her eyes to adjust. The Joltik’s have already made out the shape of an Unown-W. Lex isn’t too familiar with the creatures, but she knows there are Rockets hunting for them. Something about a device or something. Who knows. Science isn’t her thing. Acquiring what people desired? That was her specialty.

A sharp whistle sends the Joltik leaping off her shoulder. The Unown’s eye glows but not quick enough to conjure up the HUDDEN POWER needed to knock the spider back quick enough. The electric-type’s body snaps to life, sparks dancing off it’s yellow fur as an ELECTROWEB flied forward, snaring the pokemon in its grip. Lex quickly followed with an empty pokeball, watching it vibrate and roll across the ground before coming to a stop, and a hopeful capture.
