it surges indiscriminately, popping bubbles and pushing past towards the swan itself. from her line of sight it looks like the very air between them is distorted, warped.

the technique was undoubtedly familiar. mere weeks ago, at greyson's behest, she'd practiced it in the middle of a clearing. it led to frustrating results out of her control, but that was another matter. "hit them back! show her who's superior!" no offense, of course. pep-talks didn't really take into mind the opponent.

ace trills in understanding, and agreement. from her own massive wings she summons a HURRICANE, sending it right back at the swanna's. hers in an opposite rotation, willing it to collide and dissipate them together. should that work, she goes in for a closer strike.

pidgeot trills in annoyance as the sky darkens, and water begins to pour. she'd flown through rain hundreds of times, but, there was no denying the threat bogged and soaked wings could pose. that and another HURRICANE. as a bird of prey she wanted to get in close, to grip her opponent with oppressive force and never let go. meeting her attack head on, was an option, but they'd continuously stall out.

ace approaches the massive vortex with resounding speed. as she nears, she edges herself to the outermost layer of the hurricane, forcing every muscle in her body to keep up, riding the outer edges like a slingshot. it's winds whip and cut her, but sheer grit and determination knew no bounds. just as she's threatened to be consumed by the attack, she pushes off with another TAILWIND and dives into a QUICK ATTACK straight at the swanna.
