"took most of it 'n gambled it away, or spent it on chasin' night-skirts. lost it quicker than ye— " he stops, eyeing her dress with a grin, "— well, those 'r spoilers, but ye get the idea." king wasn't a fan of senseless violence. he'd fought against the caricature of a monster that his friends had always painted him as. but, the things this man did to those women, well..

with a none-so-subtle poundin' of his fist against the metallic, swinging door, he announced his presence. it took a moment, just one, before it swung open in response. a short, pudgy man, with greasy wire-thin hair, and a mustache fit for a child predator leaned out, looking down with confusion, and rage.

he didn't recognize king, of course. he wasn't the one who'd bankrolled them. just the Enforcer they'd sent in response.

"oi, guess who." then, with a wicked grin, he grabbed the oily bastard by the scruff of his collar, and hoisted him up, and over. when he was nice and comfortable on the floor, he peered down at 'em.

Hmm,” she hums, nodding, not surprised at all. Most men are idiots anyway. Very few actually impressed her.

With a wave of her hand, Toni let’s King take the lead, “Please do,” she motioned vaguely towards the food truck as he steps forward to pound on the door. It’s not long until the rather disgusting little man makes his appearance.

It takes quite a bit for Toni to not recoil at the sight of him. She didn’t know what to expect but it wasn’t the man that peaked out at them. This man just oozed with creepy.

In a rather impressive display, King pins the rotund man to the ground. From her short distance away, Toni leans forward a bit to gauge the man’s reaction. King’s display of domination brings a small smile to her lips as she watches the predator in action.

the audience didn't bother him, nor surprisingly, really edge him on in anyway. he'd decided what he was going to do to this man well-before their chance encounter. it just... helped a bit, to know she was enjoying herself at the sight.

in a flash, king had one of the mans short, stubby arms in between his hands, pushing his wrist in an angle that screamed discomfort. an obvious fact, because, well, the man screamed in response.

he attempted to blubber out something between trembling lips, but king quickly places the tip of his converse against the side of his head to silence him.

"look, i've got ta both impress the pretty lady over there, and make sure to finish this up in time ta... catch up with 'er," he says in a whisper, turning to toni to toss her a wink, "if ye catch my drift."

he had no idea if the truck owner did. it didn't matter anyways.

"so, here's what's gonna happen, ye? i'm gonna break three - sorry, no, four - of yer fingers, pop yer shoulder from it's socket, and give ye a concussion." this caused the man beneath him to whimper hardere. king reinforces the uncomfortable grip he has on the man.

"then, after that's all said 'n done, i'm gon' have ta take yer truck. somethin' about asset seizure, y'know, big 'n fancy words i don't care ta repeat."

"one the count of three now, okay?"

the sound that followed was... uncomfortable. but, the whimpering had finally stopped. that was good at least. with a light stretch, he turns back to his impromptu date.

With manicured fingers she peels the sunglasses off her face to watch the show. Her lips twitch into a small smile at King’s wink and she even goes as far as the give the rotund man a small wave when he glances over.

Toni doesn’t flinch at uncomfortable sounds that follow. She isn’t one to participate in such activities, but she is also not unfamiliar with them. King was the kind of man she’d hire for something like this. In a way, she considered this a working interview if a client of hers ever needed to be scared straight.

The woman’s smile brightens as king turns back to her once the job is done, “You’re efficient - I like that,” she slips the sunglasses back on, taking a step closer. An arm gently slips to hook onto his, “is that all the business you have to take care of?” is it time to play?

"with work like this i am, ye. but," his lips lift up into a smile, the fingers of his primary hand cracking the knuckles just beneath newly formed bruises, "in other areas though, well, ye know how meticulous and slow i like ta take it."

her body is warm against his side and he leans ever so slightly into it, like a mothim to a flame, feeling the comfort it brings. "first business, than pleasure," an index finger curls under her chin and gently lifts it until their faces are mere inches apart, "now, about that second part?"

Yes. She knows. And the knowing smile that graces her lips doesn’t hide the fact that a few of those memories slip into the forefront of her mind.

Toni leans into him too, only slightly. She doesn’t need him thinking she’s desperate, but the curl of his finger sends her heart racing in anticipation. The breath from his words lingers on her skin. The warmth sends a shiver down her arms that raises goosebumps to the surface. That, and the gently, cool breeze.

It’s still overcast and certainly not beach weather like she hoped, “hmm, I can help with that,” her other hand traces a gentle line up his torso before coming to rest on his chest, “let’s head downtown, I’m sure we can find a nice bar with a dark corner. You can buy me a drink.”

king flashes teeth that glint eagerly, hungry and wanting for a taste only she can provide. her touch feels heavy and hot, even through his shirt, and a shiver crawls up his spine as she touches the scar.

"mm, yeah, we can do that." his body presses further against her, knee slipping casually between both of her legs as his tongue flicks out to wet his lips.

"or we could head ta my place 'n leave ye drunk on somethin' else."

Her fingertips move subtly, tracing the edges of the deep scar that mars his chest. Since their last encounter, Toni’s own blemishes have healed, leaving a beautiful olive canvas asking to be painted.

“So eager,” she teases, but with a bit of hesitation. Going to his place felt too . . . personal. Plus, she liked to avoid the ‘walk of shame’ situation. The way she leans into his knees may give away her own eagerness, “We could . . . But I also have a hotel room at the Slateport Grand. It could use some breaking in,” It’s one of the finest hotels in Hoenn. She hasn’t settled on a permanent residence in Hoenn yet.

"mm, that'll work, ye." imagining what the room will look like after their encounter entices him, bringing a pressure to his belt line that she could no doubt feel against her legs.

"but, then again, i'd settle for right here so long as i can get a taste." king smirks. "lead the way darlin'. let's see what kinda' damage we can do."
