"Ah come to think about it, he was also the head scientist of the Kanto Rocket a while back. Or at least that is what I heard about" Nia muses, implying that she manages to make a link that Gavin is also part of Kanto Rocket or was. "Well, I have approached him and interacted with him. But the information that I am trying to find on him is not something that I can easily obtain by just straightly asking him" Nia make a turn gently, much gentler than before to not make the luggage tilts like before.

"I find that he is a man with zero gratitude so I am trying to find a way on how to fish at least a single 'thank you' or 'good job' from him for my selfish desire" Nia explains why she is asking that. It is not like she wants acknowledgment but it is purely her own selfish reason trying to figure out the depth of as a character - Nia often told that she had a problem differentiating fiction and reality. "Now, that is something that I could never ask him directly don't you think?"

Gavin hadn't always been underboss. He'd been a grunt, once, and a scientist to boot. Kanto Rocket brings few fond memories but working with Pryde is one of the things he regrets the least.

A sharp, surprised bark of laughter bubbles in his throat.

"Good luck with that," he scoffs. "If you want his praise, you'll need to earn it. Impress him with your work."

Pryde's praise was a rarity but Gavin had chased it like a light in the gloom, back then.

The way he scoffs made her think that he might know a thing or two on how to get out 'thank you' from and she is right when Gavin shares his opinion on how to get the praise. "Earn it, huh? I have expected that much, however, I am still unsure on to what extent should I need to impress him to get some praise." Nia hums for a bit and shrugs. "I will think more about it later then, I could not just show all about me for free after all. A lady should have a secret or two, after all," Nia smiles, continuing the drive in silence. They finally arrive at the meeting point and a person is waiting for the luggage to be delivered. She takes a park in an inconspicuous area and walks out of the car. "It is nice to work with you, Gavin. We should definitely grab some coffee together and talks. I enjoy our conversations"

"Rocket expects your best." Gavin's amber eyes are on the road ahead, the car's headlights cutting like a knife through the gloom. "So give him your best, and if that isn't enough to win praise then you're not doing enough."

A hard truth, he thinks, but one she's better off hearing now, and not after some failure brings her before Rocket's brass for other reasons.

They pull into the lot and Gavin steps from the car, offering a nod to the contact who awaited them. Gavin's not disguised, recognizable to those who paid attention to the news. He lingers by the car, leaning against its hood as the transaction goes off smoothly.

"Sure," he agrees easily enough. It's important for him to know Rocket. "I'm a busy man, but I'll find the time."
