That didn’t take long.

Hideo could hear a Pokemon approach them - a fairly large one, if the sound of its footsteps meant anything. Before he could get his Pokedex out to check what it was, it announced itself - a Bewear.

While he didn’t know too much about Bewears, he did know that their hugs could be painful. Bone-breakingly painful. And they could be very persistent about their hugging; they could be as aggressive as that one guy that tried to sell him a Shaymin chia pet.

His Beheeyem told him it didn’t even look like a Shaymin.

“Mind putting it to sleep real quick?” Hideo asked, his yogurt-lid-filled Gastly letting out Hypnosis waves to subdue the big bear.

Hideo could hear it over the sound of the snoring Bewear. He’d heard it long enough at his camp to recognize the sound of an Unown floating around here.

But…he didn’t hear about any Unown floating in this area. Or any psychic Pokemon for that matter. So what was this one doing here?

Well, he wouldn’t complain; that Unown Report still needed filling out. And his other two Unown seemed pretty happy being together; it wouldn’t hurt to get another. Though this might’ve been easier if he’d brought his Ariados along; she could’ve String Shot-ed the Unown and pulled it down.

Guess it would have to drop.

“Might putting that Unown to sleep?” Hideo asked his Pokemon. She nodded, using another Hypnosis, this time on the Unown.

Hideo knew it worked when he heard the *thmp* hit the dirt. He took out a spare Pokeball, tossing it at the sleeping Unown.
