after his wife's death, marcel's life had slowly grown into some stasis, a pathetic attempt at keeping everything as it was, as if it would make the pain of losing her any easier. he'd barely caught any pokemon since, and those he did were moments of chance of opportunity, he wasn't looking to expand his family and forget the one he'd lost.
