Remi stands there, thumb and forefinger pressed to her cheekbone and her temple. She pushes up, leaving an exasperated crinkle in her forehead. She stares straight ahead, unblinking, at the three clumsy, uncoordinated Spinda spinning aimlessly in a tizzy on the stage.

Cameras are shooting and video cameras are rolling, someone is throwing up sparkles to add 'pizzaz' or whatever it is they had said. It all really comes together to sound like an incessant bug buzz.

But all Remi can see is a mess. Granted, she had done this out of the kindness of her heart. She had seen a poster or a sign or something in passing that had immediately made her think of her bears. A dancing program, that soon turned out to be a coordinating contest signup sort of operation.

Whatever the case, it had been a spontaneous decison made to better her Spinda's day. Not something serious that required them to be perfect. But somehow, motherly instincts kick in and she wants them to be perfect. So her deadpan, disappointed stare lingers in spite of the good-hearted fun they're having.

Melody was once again tasked with assisting a coordinator with their routine choreography for a contest. This time it was a dance routine so she was really eager to finally blow off some steam and make up a dance routine. With all the chaos in Sootopolis and the rocket activity Melody had needed a small escape from the city before she could continue her work of purging the place of their activity.[break][break]

Last time she remembered doing anything with contests was when she participated in Zac Ramsay 's non-traditional gym challenge where her and her precious Mr rime didn't win the contest but were able to secure a badge at least. She arrived to the meeting location where she'd be working with someone else on this little routine and spotted the worlds CUTESTS little spindas all dancing meerily with one another. [break][break]

"Ahhhh! Spindas!" she said bolting over to them and attempting to slide into them but falling short due to a well timed reflect by her Mr rime as she surely would have crashed into them. Melody groaned as her body slide into the reflect "Cmon Mr rime! What's the big idea?!" she said looking over at him as he placed both hands on his cane and slamming it down, as if reprimanding her crass entrance

Remi, knuckles pressed into her cheek as she observes her Spinda, does a double-take as a head of bright pink hair comes barrelling onto the stage set-up. She isn't really by any means familiar in the sense she can put a name to a face, but there is something about her that makes Remi squint. And it isn't just because she's beautiful, or an airhead that just ran straight into an invisible wall.

It's definitely that she's seen a poster or a news article or something with Melody's face on it and that's why she squints and stares. It helps, too, that the woman has run face-first into an invisible wall and slides to the floor in a heap. She groans, speaks to a Mr. Rime, and looks forlorn as she stares through the wall to the three clumsy Spinda.

"You didn't break your nose, did you? Be a shame to get blood all over the stage."

Remi inclines her head to get a better look at Melody's face as she approaches. But her attention quickly snaps to one of her Spinda as the Pokemon trips, slips, and flips onto its back. It begins to cry profusely, stunned by its clumsiness. Its little arms flail wildly as it sobs, and Remi moves to pick up the small panda, only to also run into the invisible reflect.

"I' m good!" she says giving Remmi a thumbs up only to watch the spinda slip and Remmi herself crash into a reflect unintentionally. Melody looked over at Mr. Rime and shot him a nasty glare "Hey! Behave yourself and get rid of these reflects!" she shouts. [break][break]

Mr rime sighs and bonks his cane on the floor once mary poppins style as his screen cleaner ability activates and they begin to vanish. [break][break]

"Sorry about that, are you and your spinda ok?" she asked moving over to the girl and extending a hand to help her up, hopefully she accepted it.

Remi crumbles to the floor, holding her own nose to make sure that she hasn't just broken herself on the invisible wall. Fortunately, everything is still intact other than the ringing in her head and the throb in her nose.

"Wow, that's an insane ability. Felt like a real wall."

She shakes her head, rises to her feet with Melody's help, and offers the girl a small smile.

"Spinda always look a little stunned. I think they're made of jello, they just bounce right back."

As she says this, the three bears are already picking themselves back up and seem oblivious to the fact they had even fallen down to begin with.

The theory that they could be made out of jello probably held some weight, not really but melody was gullible to a fault. [break][break]

She had a tendency to believe whatever someone told her, but that was not a natural tendency. It was one placed there by her mother. [break][break]

She returned her Mr. Rime for now as he was going to be put in time out for his old man shenanigans for now. "Alright so. choreography huh?" she said trying to come up with a routine, but it was going to be rather difficult with Spindas. Their movements with irrational, sporadic, completely unpredictable.. "This is gonna be kind of hard. How can we expect a pokemon who's entire nature is to just move around silly be able to dance together as a group?" she said kind of frustrated already? [break][break]

However the gears in her head were turning with an intensity as she began to try and mimic their movements herself, almost falling over herself but managing to stay upright.
