virizion (-) justified - sacred sword, leaf blade, smart strike, protect, stone edge, magical leaf

another safari! how wonderful. keeping with the spirit of the holidays, he enters the safari zone with a santa hat. virizion wears one as well, though hers sits a bit oddly atop her head.

"lemme fix it."

he steps over, adjusting the hat as best he can. due to her odd shape, it slides off every now and then, which just means he'll have to constantly fix it.

not that he minds. he'd do a lot for virizion.

oh! matias is actually wearing a really ugly christmas sweater, too, to match his santa hat. it has patterns of jynx's face on it blowing kissies to one another. it's actually really cute.

about as cute as the treecko that appears.

"hel—"

it's quick with a NIGHT SLASH, interrupting matias. he'll have to teach it some manners later.

virizion is agile enough to leap over the pulse of energy, closing the distance within seconds to throw her LEAF BLADE across treecko's chest. as UNBURDENED as it is, it's flung back and into a tree before a safari ball consumes it.

matias approaches, lowering to a knee before offering a berry. the snover waddles over, cautious at first, but the prospect of a juicy berry is simply too good to ignore. it reaches out for it, clasps it with both hands, and quickly waddles backwards.

"try it. it's virizion's favorite."

snover nods! then waddles back over for more.

snover and snorunt, the cuties, except this snorunt is more violent than anticipated.

it greets the party with a sharp ICICLE CRASH that barely misses matias's shoulder. he narrows his eyes, looking over only to nod his head.

quick to close the distance, virizion's SACRED SWORD knocks it up into the air, and like a trained baseball professional, matias throws a pokeball at it right before it hits the ground.

"gotcha."

pineco's brilliant OVERCOAT is what makes it stand out. it glimmers even from a distance, and as matias approaches, only then is he able to witness its true beauty.

its golden coat of scales keeps it safe from harm. a preemptive PROTECT causes it to glow, but matias is quick to shake his head.

"we're not here to hurt you."

instead, he offers it a berry. it regards the offer for a moment before finally dropping down to accept.
