It was almost nostalgic, helping keep these memorials clean. This was the kind of stuff he did when he was still at home, to "build character" or, as he preferred, as a job that he got paid for. Though he couldn't deny there was a part of him that felt good doing this kind of work; someone had to do it.
Of course, he wouldn't be doing it alone; a blind kid wasn't the best person for finding dirt or grime, so he had some Pokemon helping on that end. He'd lost track where his Ambipom was, though he could hear her brushing away at stuff or slapping away someone that didn't belong.
As for the other Pokemon he had out? It was hard to miss that big ball of fluff that practically radiated heat breathing next to him. It definitely helped melt the snow or ice that built up. He had to rely on his Arcanine to find stuff for him to wipe up.
