The wiggling stopped, and Yvette turned to coax what she assumed to be a pouting Newt out of her shell, only to find her Pokémon missing completely. A desperate cry brought her attention upwards, where the Starly she’d been looking for was quickly flying away with her darling Applin clutched in its tiny talons!

It seemed like the end for the poor creature, until a massive, clawed hand reached out of the trees, snatching both Pokémon clean out of the air.

”Nice catch!” Yvette called out to her Kangaskhan, who was now staring at the Starly in her grasp with barely concealed Rage. She lowered the terrified bird down to her trainer’s level however, where it stared back at her with huge, pleading eyes.

And really, how could she say no to that?
