The CHINGLING approaches Belial in attempt to spark friendship, it seems. Happily, it chimes and dances around him. He's not a complete asshole, of course, and entertain its for a bit.

But Hecate likes shiny things. She swoops down when she catches the golden gleam of the bell, seizing it in her talons before taking it away. When she's tired of playing with it, she discards it into the forest below.

Hecate seemed to enjoy tormenting and teasing the OSHAWOTT with a PLUCK here and a GUST there. If Belial had to guess, he was making fun of it for not being able to fly. It made him wonder if the vulture was any good at swimming itself.

Regardless, when the little otter struck back with a FURY CUTTER, things immediately intensified. The Mandibuzz beat it to a pulp with a BONE RUSH, after which the pair left the battered little Pokémon behind.

An ERUPTION fills the sky from deep inside the forest. Hecate is there minutes before Belial arrives. She encircles a raging Cyndaquil down below, and is forced to dive when it takes notice of her captain.

Too preoccupied with trying to FLARE BLITZ the human, the fiery mammal fails to notice the BONE RUSH headed its way before it's too late. It is struck with a heavy 'thud' before it collapses into the ground. Pulling an empty ball out from his pack, Belial tosses it to secure the capture.

The ROWLET hoots in the tree above, and Hecate takes that personally.

The vulture is much larger than the smaller bird it viciously attacks. For that reason alone, it should come to no surprise that their little scuffle ends quickly. Namely, with the Mandibuzz's talons over the Rowlet's head.

Rather than let her continue to be a bully, however, Belial calls her back to his side as he moves on.

Hecate irritates the GROWLITHE with short pecks and caws of laughter. It barks at the vulture, helplessly, from the ground below. Its fangs drip with fire (FIRE FANG) as it continually attempts to leap into the air and snag a wing.

Eventually, however, Hecate has had enough of playing with the pup. She strikes it down mercilessly with a GUST, sending it crashing into a boulder shortly thereafter. Belial slides in afterward with an empty timer ball, and casts it to secure his capture.

The RAGEPOWDER that filled the air reached their nostrils before they could do anything to avoid it. Vulture caws filled the air like the terrible song of Greek furies, Hecate flapping her wings frantically as she flew about. Belial, in the meantime, fared no better. 

"GRAAAAH!!" He growls in anger, grabbing his head with both hands as he tries to control himself. When he realizes his dosed up Mandibuzz has set his sights on him, however, the instinct for survival is the only thing that prompts him to run into the forest. Funny enough, when he passes through a bush he ends up revealing the hiding spot for their trickster.

The SHINY SCATTERBUG attempts desperately to crawl back into the bush afterwards. But Hecate sends it airborne with a GUST. This flap of her wings manages to clear the ragepowder lingering in the air, too, and Belial finally finds some sense within himself: enough to pull out an empty ball and cast it at the bug.
