A Bronor would float to greet the trainer and the Pangoro. Immediately, the sentient metal disc would slam into the Pangoro with a Feint Attack, bypassing its sprig. The attack only made the Pangoro angry, more than anything. In retaliation, the Pangoro slammed its fist into the Bronzor with a Drain Punch. The attack sent the Bronzor flying back a considerable distance.

Meanwhile, the Drain Punch was all but enough to heal the Pangoro of the wounds he sustained. The Bronzor would catch itself, and turn to the Pangoro. The disc would attempt to subdue the Pangoro with Hypnotic rays. The Pangoro would quickly sidestep the Bronzor, before closing the gap with a Bullet Punch, followed up by a Throat Chop.

The chop would cause the Bronzor to drop to the ground with a heavy thud. Brutus would turn back to Thomas, who gave him a nod, before both proceeded up the path.

A Haunter would emerge along their path. The ghost would attempt to lunge at Thomas, and give him a lick. Thomas quickly dodged the attack, and allowed Brutus to take care of it.

The Haunter would attempt to subject the Pangoro to Hypnosis. As with before, the Pangoro was able to dodge the hypnotic rays with ease, and close the gap with a Bullet Punch, before launching a Throat Chop at the Haunter. The Haunter's eyes widened as the malice-infused chop made contact with his body, knocking him out on contact.

Thomas cringed at how painful the attack looked. He had to wonder if the Pangoro managed to do some permanent damage, if that was even possible. Shrugging after a moment, he motioned for Brutus to continue following him.

An Inkay would fire a Psybeam at the trainer. Brutus, sensing the attack, would block the trainer, taking the blast. Thanks to his Dark-typing, he took it without issue. In retaliation, the Inkay would slam the Pangoro with a Superpowered strike. The attack hit, causing the Pangoro to grunt in pain.

Thomas would notice that the attack would tire out and weaken the Inkay, rather than invigorate it. This told him that the Inkay did not have Contrary. "Drain Punch.", Thomas ordered. The Pangoro slammed his fist into the Inkay's body, sending it flying several feet. The attack would heal off some of the damage done by the prior attack.

The Inkay, barely 'standing' lunged at the Pangoro with a Slash. This time, the Pangoro would deftly dodge the tentacle slash, and retaliate with an Ice Punch. This time, the Inkay fell to the ground, unconscious.

"Good work.", Thomas told the Pangoro, before continuing on his way.
