The tall grass beckons, and within it the promise of sooo many cute, fluffy babies! Luka hopes that Sugar won't be too disgruntled when she amasses a little army of Eevee...the darling should know that she'll always be number one in her trainer's heart.[break][break]
Of course, there are so many cuties to look out for too! As Luka traipses through the safari zone, she keeps her eyes peeled should anything adorable pop out.

Sugar chirps as she trots by Luka's side, alerting her that there's something nearby. Notably, the Eevee doesn't go out of her way to chase after it, preferring to stay near her trainer and keep her fur clean. Luka giggles as she takes the initiative to step forwards, parting long tufts of grass to reveal...[break][break]
A Stufful! It squeaks in surprise much like a stuffed toy might. Luka's Eevee seems rather relieved as she charges in with a swift, glowing stars surrounding the Normal type like a mobile. It tries to follow the movement, but is quickly rendered confused and dizzy, and makes for an easy capture.[break][break]

Sugar has never been the type to take so much initiative. She's dainty, delicate. A lady, Luka can picture her saying in a haughty tone. So the fact that she's so aggressive today is a little off.[break][break]
It must be because of the purpose of their hunt. And so Luka smiles softly and scoops Sugar into her arms, cooing and running her hands through plush fur. And of course the Eevee responds by snuggling close to her trainer's chest, enjoying the attention and subtle reassurance.[break][break]
Ripples appear in a pond nearby, but the two, wrapped up in warm affection, pass it by.

Although most of her worries seem assuaged, Sugar still seems to pout a little as she's carried around the Safari zone. She's cute; big eyes wide and exaggeratedly pitiful, and elicits from Luka more awws and head scratches. The little creature has her completely wrapped around her finger, just the way she likes it.[break][break]
Sugar daintily leaps from her trainer's arms when the grass rustles up ahead, her tail swishing curiously as she takes a few delicate steps. But what comes toddling out is a Happiny, a species very familiar given that Luka's apartment is basically a sanctuary for little egg babies now.[break][break]
Perhaps the Happiny can tell, for it squeaks and runs towards her, only to trip over stubby baby legs. As soon as Luka rights her and pats her on the head, the little thing chimes again and runs up to hug her leg, unexpectedly clingy.[break][break]
Sugar doesn't seem happy about this development either, but the Happiny is here to stay.

If Sugar was disgruntled before, she certainly is now. Because as the little group makes their way further into the safari, rustling grass finally gives way to the purpose of their hunt.[break][break]
Luka keeps her aww to herself as they happen upon the Eevee, snoozing peacefully in a spot of dappled sunlight. What a sweetie! Sugar bounds ahead, determined to prove herself as the superior of the species, apparently. Displaying a lack of decorum, she boops the other Pokemon on the nose to rouse him from his slumber, earning a disgruntled squeak in return.[break][break]
The battle is short, and Sugar, with the element of surprise on her side, has the upper hand. She chirrups in triumph when the safari ball clicks closed, and Luka is quick to reward her with the most loving of pets as they head back to the safari entrance.
