 WITH THE RELEASE OF POKEMON: LEGENDS ARCEUS (PLA), new Pokémon, moves, and more can be integrated within our site. That is one of the joys of a long running narrative-focused Pokémon roleplay, for the content drip never ends. However, the challenge lies in merging the new information in a way that fits forum roleplay and the narrative at large.[break][break]
Previously, the integration of Pokémon Sword & Shield content was relatively simple. The in character (IC) explanation of a lifted "Galarian embargo" allowed the Pokémon and content of Generation 8's flagship titles to come into the site with ease. HOWEVER, SINCE HISUI IS A PAST/ALTERNATE SETTING, the existence of new Pokémon and more can be difficult to explain ICly. Although suspension of disbelief can be practiced, we are opting for an approach that fits with the site plot in a convenient (and pre-planned ohoho) manner. Considering we're in an arc where spatial, temporal and dimensional boundaries are at risk of collapsing, Hisui content will be implemented in a particular, plot-based way.[break][break]
Of course, this is all subject to change or evolve over time. DLC & Generation 9 is around the corner, after all.[break][break]
Last note, no one ICly will be able to recognize these Pokemon. No records, no history, curiously enough!
HOW TO GET HISUI MONS HOW TO GET HISUI MONS
 SPACE-TIME DISTORTIONS WILL BE THE PRIMARY METHOD of obtaining Hisuian Pokémon and forms. At least, for the time being. In the future, ways to receive Hisuian Pokémon will expand.[break][break]
Space-time Distortions will be similar to SWARMS. For a limited period of time, a SPACE-TIME DISTORTION will appear on site. Should your character make an IC-post in one of these threads, they will be able to perform a limited amount of actions via regular site shop items and roleplay:
Once the deadline has passed, the SPACE-TIME DISTORTION will fade. However, these distortions will not be "rare" and if you miss out on a chance to participate in one, it is likely another will soon follow.[break][break]
