A relative newcomer to the region, his Unovan accent gives him away. Spending most of his life in Castelia City, he has come east to make a name for himself. Primarily interested in Ground, Rock, and Steel types, he has devoted himself to learning all there is to learn about Pokemon who thrive in a sandstorm. [break][break] From Old Johto. Despite all signs pointing to Unova, he and his family are really from Johto - Ecruteuk City. The name gives it away, but it's interesting nonetheless. Completely committed to his research. Wants to make his name in the field, but never has the funds and tools necessary. Maybe with a little monetary leverage, he'd be more willing to do business? [break][break] Truths & Ideals. Something of a goody two-shoes. Cares about the environment, pokemon, people, and "what's right". Maybe if we can convince him it's for the greater good, he'd acquiesce. Despite his and his parent's flawless reputation and commitment to preserving history, there is a darker secret to the Moriya family. Covered up by his father so well that even his wife and son don't know, in truth Hideyoshi's grandfather and great-grandfather were both infamously bad archeologists. Using explosions and brute-force pokemon, they caused irreparable damage to numerous digsites across multiple regions. But with a quick name change and relocation, his father distanced them from the terrible legacy of their family.
