Before he could make any memories of his birthplace, his parents and he moved to Castelia City in Unova. His mother and father had been asked to come and study the Desert Resort and Relic Castle and had accepted the task with fervor.[break][break] Growing up in Unova, Hide spent most of his days amidst the sandstorms of the Desert Resort. A love for history, ruins, and desert pokemon brewed within him. As he became a man, he followed in the footsteps of his parents and became a researcher. Hoping to strike out on his own, he departed for Hoenn and its ruins.
