After the events of the tree things have been bugging him. Having been a long believer of pokemon are merrily tools, not that was going to change, within the tree there was a clear bond between pokemon and human that he wanted solve. What it was he couldn't really put his head around it, especially seeing as getting several of these Riolu to evolve was still beyond him.[break][break]

It was why he was bringing subjects of his own who could possibly help him. [break][break]

Days go by and each he reserves for someone willing to have something for his study. This time around the labtechs tell him that Eris Halla wanted in. At the moment he was taking a closer look at the metal his Melmetal was made of. The large pokemon out and standing large and in charge as it was snacking on scraps that were of no use as the Labtech would have made sure to accompany the child that wanted in.

Pryde takes a look at the large Melmetal at the question. Seeing as it's appetite doesn't seem like it had been affected nor has its performance. Though its not like the old man goes out and battles often anyway. "Based off this one? No," he answers simple though for anyone who knew the man it would be clear that it wouldn't have mattered if it did. [break][break]

"Baby pokemon," with that he whistles and from their place in the lab comes up a Riolu who salutes after having been summoned. Subject C was ever the rule follower and so it made sure to follow anything it's master wanted. "This is Subject C, I need someone to evolve them as I am busy with other matters, think you can manage that?"

When it comes to evolutions based on the strength of a trainer and pokemon's bond, Eris most certainly isn't a stranger to it.The only real challenge is whether Pryde's training has somehow altered its personality to the point of irreversible absolute obedience. In those cases, a bond will never truly grow and she's most certainly seeing why he's had trouble evolving this little one.

The Riolu just blinks at her, unsure of how to answer, not that his master would allow one as the old man was quick to speak up. "No you may not," Pryde replies instead. These pokemon were objects and tools for an experiment, allowing them a name and letting them think they were anything more seemed to be counter productive. [break][break]

The riolu looks back to Eris as he points at his master as if that were the answer to follow. Though it at least still seems willing to follow her orders as it gives a bow to the Luxray his temp master wants them to befriend. For now Pryde leaves a pokeball for Eris to grab, "You have your job, you may leave now," he waves his hand to shoo them out of his office as he has other things to work on. [break][break]
