nd that's the gist of it." speaking with FERNANDO SILPH. arian retold a story one of his hostesses of the casino had told his brother. she was being harassed by some unknown assailant who, at first, seemed nice but continued to ask questions about the whom the current gym leader of lilycove was. "apparently he's been trying to meet with me, but it's not really easy to gain my attention these days with how busy i am. if you're not apart of my gym trainers, the host/hostess club, a general worker of the casino or a trainer looking to challenge the gym, i try to limit unnecessary conversation." an annoyed sigh escaped. "i try to keep contact to a minimum with people, do you know how many people fawn over me the second i step out? it's annoying." [break][break]

being in the eye of attention wasn't all that's cracked up to be. the popularity wasn't something that sparked joy for arian. and now he has some creepy individual messing with one of his girls? "it's one thing to mess with me, but to mess with the workers i consider family? i can't just ignore it. so, i've come to you for assistance in helping me detain this guy and checking him out." currently they were inside of kings dominion's casino, chatting at the bar. an elbow was placed upon the bar top as his chin would firmly rest upon the palm of his hand.

"the girl is going to help us. personally, i don't want her to, but she kept insisting." turning his attention upon FERNANDO SILPH, he'd ask, "what do you think?" and awaited his response.

the fact that arian had asked for his personal help was enough to get him into the casino. everything that followed afterwards was a waste of breath. there's no need for an explanation or the pretense of their objective. it's a simple nab and grab, nothing more, nothing less. all fernando asks for in return is the liberty to operate as he sees fit.

"it'll be fine," he reassures.

between the two of them, fernanod's had more then long enough to set up. while his stealth team is smaller than his primary members they're still numerous enough to surround the trainers. out of sight, the pokemon remain concealed, ready to pop out at a moment's notice.

"we'll get them."

ll was said and done. "he should be showing up approximately around this time. he's becoming here each day at twelve on the dot to speak with her." and it was almost twelve. "the guy's described to look as if he were apart of a 90s boy group: icy tips, brunette hair, a tall figure, and a piercing underneath his lower lip." arian kept his head forward, but he knew from the sudden call upon his cellular device that he'd arrived.

"and that's one of the bodyguards on duty, seems as though he's at the entrance right now." with an escaped sigh, he'd comment, "at the first sight of you he's going to take off you know? i hope your team is ready for a chase." arian stated.

fernando seems to be speaking to no one in particular but the sound of shuffling lets arian know that they are not alone. various spectres along the floor float away, menacing blots of their shadows that blend in with those cast from the lights above.

"why's that. am i that scary, arian."

there's a hint of teasing him but fernando quickly drops the laid back tone. it's time to get to work. brushing off his pants, he stands, looking toward the entrance.

"because i am. let's get to it."

h no. arian hoped there wouldn't be much destruction. he trailed behind fenrando upon straightening his suit. "just don't make a mess of the place and try to keep the damage to a minimum. i'd hate for the issue to get out of hand; we promote a calm, safe, family-friendly, and collaborative community at this casino." he'd add, "and they break, you buy!" and so they were off.

the target in question remained near the entrance. unaware of whom were arriving to greet the harassing stalker. once there, he'd say, "that's the guy." and, sure enough, the guy was caught by surprise to find arian coming to meet him; although a look of despair cascaded over his face once he saw the individual standing next to him: FERNANDO SILPH. with a reputation like his, as well as being one of the faces of the council, the male prepared to take off. little did he know that, above, did the apparition gather.

the moment their suspect makes a run for it it's already too late. the sound of two small pokemon can be heard rushing straight for him. to the naked eye, they'll be unable to discern more then a pair of red strips that seem to erratically shake as it gets closer and closer. their CAMOUFLAGE holds despite their activity.

fernando's quick to pursue. with the path the culprit is currently running it's only a matter of time until he runs into his pincer attack.

a mimikyu waits on the other end. it starts to faze back into existence, rising from the floor.

somewhere in the casino a bell tolls. it's heavy and reverberates within the vicinity. each loud pang casts a spell over the casino's entrance. there's no way to escape back from where he came. another invisible wall will BLOCK him from escaping.

mazed. arian would say, "so that's the inevitable escape technique!" he's heard much about it, but never seen it in person. "what an interesting power to possess; the power to seal your opponent within a vicinity." he wondered if the entire building was on lock-down or if it had just been that specific area. "gentlemen." with just a simple snap the bodyguards of kings dominion came.

"apprehend him. make sure he doesn't escape, take him to the velvet room and await further instructions." and without little complaint the man had been taken away, but arian had questions for fernando. he took on a serious tone and manner for a brief moment, but suddenly reverted back to a childlike expression. "that was so cool!? hey, hey, how does that ability work?! did your mimikyu do that?! you have to tell me about the difference between mean look and block!" the pokemon enthusiast was here, and he had questions...oh dear.

leaving arian's men to deal with this ordeal suffices. his job is singular and for the most part done. go figure that apprehending people is more often easier then wild pokemon, at least when they refuse to put up a fight. the fact he turned tail to run at the sight of him means that his infamy proceeds him.

"it's the golden standard for dispatching unruly pokemon. as long as you're confident you can handle them sectioning them off from escape is essential."

his pokemon come to a halt and they clamber back toward him, returning from whence they came. one, two, three. the only one that stays it the only pokemon that's out of sight, the one who keeps them locked inside. "it's bronzong. they're a very mysterious pokemon that hosts a wide array of psychic powers. even the most distinguished pokemon scholar is still learning about the pokemon's abilities and their history."

bronzong is an absolute unit by itself. alone, it may not be the best battler but fernando's never been one to play by the rules. power is taken, not given, and he'll do anything to take what belongs to him.

"as to the difference - they work about the same. just the pokemon that can learn them, the medium that they're applied from, and the niche counter to them are the only differences i can think of."

he more he spoke, the more his jaw grew agape. he wrote all of this down. nodding, listening, and taking in. "as always, you've taught me something amazing, mr. fernando!" an ecstatic tone. arian, as always, appreciated his mentorship. "let me treat you to some mango gelato! my treat as payment for your assistance, on the house for you and your pokemon!" arian chimed. an arm placed around his mentor's bicep, pulling him to the bar. "and while we're at it, we're gonna have a talk about finding you a special girl; let's fix that scowl on your face." a hearty laughter followed, "let's go, let's go!"

his enthusiasm is his only redeemable trait. all the extraness that comes with it is something he can do without. the fact that this man curries the title of gym leader is enough to temper fernando long enough to entertain him.

but even he has his limit.

the same scowl that arian mentions is the one that paints his face as the younger, more dramatic man carries him away. he makes no mention of persephone amavi if only because that's a detail he wants to carry all by himself. the less they know the less they involve themselves and ultimately that means the more of her he gets.

she is an addiction and he'll do anything to hoard her into himself.
