Her fingers grip tight onto the Salamence and something boils and festers in her chest. A feral snarl bubbles up from her throat, a sharp whistle tearing through the space. The Salamence rears his head back, flames trickling from his maws and spewing all over the ground between them.

Her Salamence roars and flames twist amongst the swirling leaves, the fire dancing across the tree lines and striking the earth. With Matias finally encircled and left nowhere to go but up, the Dragon dives with Claws outstretched, slamming them straight down towards him.

the grass-type closes the distance almost immediately, intercepting the DRAGON CLAW that rakes down her neck. but virizion is quick to counter with a SACRED SWORD, looking to cut down the mighty dragon.[break][break]

It's driving her mad, her nails digging deeper but finding no relief nor answers.

This pain that she feels and wishes for others to feel in turn; Both have taken her family, both have sought to convince her of the other's faults.

"You tried to kill Reiner that day! What about that is considered justice, Matias?!"

Poisoned with a vendetta, fuelled with a need to right the wrongs in her life - She has to get her Salamence past Virizion's defenses and Arceus knows that if Kanto has taught her anything, it's how to fight dirty. A hand ripped out of her pocket allows her just enough momentum to throw something right at the legendary's face, a silver blob that splashes outwards to cover her sight and then coagulates like soured milk.

There is no understanding as to what has brought on this fight, but Mercury knows just about enough to determine that Virizion isn't an ally and he rips right into her. His liquid grows into fine wires that cut at her muzzle, Toxic metal mixing with her blood and sinking into her wounds. At the very chance, the Salamence screeches, kicking Virizion back as her sword scrapes his wings and lashing out at Matias in Outrage.

the ICICLE CRASH shoots off towards eris, intending to pin her down. it's why no PROTECT forms. nothing to save matias but his own reaction.[break][break]

but how fast can one be against a mighty dragon?[break][break]

he turns, twisting his body just enough to avoid the sharp DRAGON CLAWS from dragging through his neck. instead, it slices down the side of his shoulder, cutting flesh and drawing blood.[break][break]
