on the few days she isn't suffering under the weight of work, she's out on a nice, pleasant jog around the routes. though, she can't exactly say she remembers how she managed to stumble upon the jagged pass in her travels, there wasn't any sense of urgancy to turn back. after all, she had her pokemon. worst case, she would have her metagross carry her home. the jog was going smoothly - so she thought, until a sudden bubble beam was shot at her. the bubbles don't hurt too much (thankfully), but they do some damage to her clothing. not quite drenched, but certainly damp and weighing against her skin. "ack--" she grunts, immediately turning her gaze to where it came from. then the source's trainer pops up. [break][break]

she'd be upset, but.. the perpetrator was a piplup, so she can't be too angry. and so fiora sighs softly, removing the now damp hoodie that was starting to get heavier as the water sunk in. "it's fine, don't worry about it. i needed a way to cool off, anyways~." though still sighing, she can't get mad at a baby pokemon. her brief discomfort however, is offset with a smile and soft giggle. "i didn't expect to see anyone here, either" she starts, wrapping the hoodie's sleeves around her waist "what brings you out?"

His tongue clicked instinctively upon seeing the dampened portions of fabric, side eying the azure feathered fledgling as she waddled her way back to his side. Within a seemingly thousand-yard-esque stare, he watched in silence as she merely plopped herself down upon one of his feet and wrapped her flippers around his leg.[break][break]

She looked up at him.[break]
He stared back.[break][break]

And, after a small amount of time, he breathed a sigh before glancing towards the brunette some ways away. ”...Training,” had been his initial, simple response as he called a quick, ”Kagu! Tasukeru!” towards the dual typed canine nearby. With a nod accompanying the request, the ginger furred beast gave a rather gruff bark prior to making a leisurely pad towards the woman. He gave her another bark upon arrival, and while sitting down, opened his maw to reveal a faint glow within the back of his throat as he breathed out gently.[break][break]

”...If you’d like, he can help you dry your clothes a bit quicker,” he hummed, crossing his arms. ”His breath is heated. …Should help get rid of the moisture.”[break][break]

He eyed her for a little while longer, quirking his lip faintly as a subtle bit of familiarity tugged the back of his mind. His eyes instinctively shifted towards the Arcanine as he sat waiting to offer his aid, though after some minor degree of thought, the man peered towards the person by him once more.[break][break]

”...Also, my apologies if I’m incorrect, but would you happen to be an officer?” he mused, raising a brow faintly. ”I feel as though I may have seen you aiding in some things the League has helped with in the past…”
