Bronze's family has roots that are as old and deep as the mountains upon which they dwell. The main branch of the family calls Blackthorn City in Johto its home, and has since time immemorial, but there are others that live in other regions, though they all maintain a strong affinity towards Dragon pokemon, regardless of where they reside. Of particular note is that there is a large Draconid presence in the family's lineage, with travelling members of earlier generations having interwoven the bloodlines with the ancient Hoenn clan long ago. As is often the case with families that can trace their heritage back so far, the Drakons possess great pride in their origins and history, as well as a particularly strong reverence for Legendary Dragon pokemon from all regions. They often perform numerous rites to venerate specific Legendary Dragons, as well as the family's chosen pantheon as a whole, and members are typically both devout and spiritual. [break][break]

Bronze, born Thaddeus (a name he loathes), had a fairly typical youth for those of the Drakons family. Much of it was spent in the company of Dragon types and other monstrously powerful and strong-willed pokemon, with an abundance of extremely grueling training in the harsher sections of the mountainous region they called home. He took the family's emphasis of personal power to heart, and threw himself into forging both himself and his pokemon into the greatest monsters they could be. This would prove to be fortuitous when the Rocket invasion of Johto began.[break][break]

Violence was an old and familiar presence in Bronze's life, given the proximity to so many dangerous and often domineering pokemon throughout it, both under and free of his elder's watchful supervision in training and out in the wilds. The sheer brutality of the war, however, was nothing like what he had experienced growing up. The barbarism and underhanded tactics employed by Rocket horrified him, but rather than weaken his resolve, it served only to temper it, and kindle within him a hatred of Rocket that only grew with time. He spent much of his time flying from one combat zone to another on the back of his Garchomp, lending his might and doing what he could to rescue others while simultaneously enacting as much brutality upon Rockets as he could manage. It was in this conflict that he learned that in order to truly fight against evil, you had to stain your hands with
sin in the pursuit of the greater good - A philosophy that he has embraced. [break][break]

Having heard of Rocket's more insidious presence in Hoenn via some of his extended family that live there, he has recently moved to the region in order to burn Rocket out, root and stem. [break][break]

Bronze received the nickname due to his fondness for the metal, such that he is never seen without it upon his person in some form. He favours spiked bronze gauntlets when he's fighting in earnest.[break][break]
He is a mountain of a man, 6'11 tall, with an immense frame that is packed with formidable muscle.
