[break][break] Beau is running, which is not incredibly unusual in and of itself. The slight issue is his destination: he is pelting full-tilt into the entrance of an incredibly tall and complex hedge maze, the wild environs of which do not necessarily seem to be the most easily traversible at speed. [break][break] Surely enough, his progress is abruptly halted as the entrance diverges into two paths, one to the left and one to the right. Beau skids to a halt, breathing lightly, then turns around with a fierce bellow. "Come on out, Chaos! Smash through this puny little bush so we can get to the prize!" [break][break] A moment passes and nothing happens. At length, a small shape tumbles into view down the main path of the maze, snorting and snuffling as it pants, trying to keep up with its trainer. This is Chaos the Snubbull, whose huge, watery eyes regard his trainer and then the tall hedgerow ahead of him with a grim determination at odds with the heaving pants he currently takes after his long trot into the maze proper. [break][break] With a growl, Chaos leaps into the air, landing a fierce Crunch on a section of vines and leaves. The foliage rustles slightly, but other than that, nothing appears to happen, leaving the Snubbull hanging from the middle of the wall, jaws clenched firmly on an especially large leaf. [break][break] "Huh. Man, Chaos, this place must be, like, EXTRA reinforced if you can't get through it!" Beau reaches up to collect the small dog-like pokemon, placing him on the ground and patting his head in a friendly manner. "Okay, brah, left or right?" The glower on the Roselia's face as she looks at your Snubbull is astonishing, little petals whirling irritably above her head like a storm cloud as she crosses her arms. Someone clearly doesn't think messing with the maze is funny.
As you advance deeper into the maze, flowers of every hue blossom and unfurl around you, as if celebrating your passage deeper into the leafy foliage. Sunlight spills forth through the crevices of leaves and branches, at last revealing a Lilligant who stands before you.
The Lilligant attempts to mimic your fingerguns, though the result is more like an excited flailing of hands. She seems excited that you're excited, anyway.
A gentle wind bearing dandelion spores draws you further into the maze, sticky with sweet pollen. It tickles your nose, leaving it no surprise when the bend turns to reveal a joyful Jumpluff standing before you.
Your energy is met in equal measure by the excitable Jumpluff, who dances about with glee around you and your Snubbull. As if to say, 'You got this, brah!'
The radiant smile of a Bellossom greets you, dancing over to you with a consolation gift in her hands. Next to her, the figure of her trainer,
