Beau wipes his brow with the back of his hand, driving the blade of his shovel into the dirt with a loose 'THUNK' and stepping back to survey his work. The small patch of land hadn't been wild beforehand, per se, but a sense of accomplishment still manages to settle on his shoulders as he regards the four freshly-tilled garden plots just waiting to host a bountiful harvest.

Unlike the plots, however, waiting does not appear to be among the personality traits of the average Hawlucha, as a particularly limber specimen flips and cavorts much too close to Beau's hard-won plots for his liking. "Dude, no dice!" he yells, releasing Nemo with a quick flip of his wrist.

The Marshtomp orients quickly on the intruder, opening his mouth wide and unleashing a Mud Shot that misses the agile bird entirely. Shaking his head, Nemo fires again, this time scoring a hit and sending the bird sprawling, his feathers gunked in drying mud.

"Nice moves, brah," Beau comments as he approaches, "but maybe practice them outside my garden, yeah?" He fishes out an empty pokeball from his pocket and tosses it toward the downed Hawlucha, capturing it in a burst of red light.
