The explanation he offered didn't include further insight as to what exactly he meant by 'secret base'. It wasn't the grown man disappeared from sight, falling down into a mysterious hole in the undergrowth, that Felix finally saw what he meant. Cautious, he followed the other down.

"Ah."

Given his size, it was relatively difficult to move around without straight up hunching forward, and so he did. Thin tight lips greeted Paxton as he struggled his way over. "I see."

Kneeling, he reached down and pulled out one of the many beers that were stocked up along the shelves, gave it a quick look, then returned it, satisfied with what he saw.
"So you have more of these?"

It's cramped, but he doesn't realize how much until Felix is forced to kneel. He tried not to laugh but it pulled a snort or two from him. "Sorry, I was hasty when I made this since it's just for storage and my garden." he explained.

He nodded as his eyes adjusted to the gloom. "Not many, since I maintain them and furnish some of them but...yeah. I used to as a kid for fun and now I do it if I want some shelter while out." He didn't mention that he felt more comfortable in the woods. At the very least, more isolated so if he screamed or cried no one could hear it.

"I can show you how, if you want. Or you can just have this one when I'm done."
