Whatever it was, he wanted absolutely none of it. None of it for himself. None of it for his Pokemon— so as he saw it start to make a path generally towards them, he blew a somewhat stressed and hastened raspberry while straightening his back where he sat, calling and gesturing to them with a quick, ”Oi! Guys! C’mere!” while maintaining a gaze on the poison type as it walked on by.[break][break]

Thankfully enough, his two companions scampered over to him without a scratch or second thought.[break]
He still squinted at the thorny…thing as it passed by, though.[break][break]

”That’s right, ya gangly ass thing… Keep chuggin’ on by…”[break][break]

If whiplash was embodied by anyone, it’d probably be him.[break][break]

Between how easily and aggressively he had a tendency to snap back and forth between subjects and demeanors sometimes, it hadn’t been too much of a surprise for him to keep his eyes clear upon the poison type as it made its final steps off center stage, only for the sight of a tiny, goddamned dinosaur to make its entrance and make his jaw drop slightly. A quick and shameless huff of breath (let’s be real; it was basically the type of noise a deadass monkey would make) escaped his lips as he immediately straightened up and prepped a spare Pokeball.[break][break]

”Ayo— SICK ‘EM!” he called out pointing towards the dragon as it literally just…minded its own business. It did look at him once he rose his voice (at was honestly hard not to), but by the look of it, it only really had enough time to give what almost sounded like a defensive scream before getting promptly hit by a Tackle and Take Down at the mercy of an Eevee and Shieldon, respectively.[break][break]

The cherry on top? A Pokeball, flung right at it.[break]
Talk about kicking a bitch while it was down.[break][break]
