After reaching out for some tips from Elisabeth Fiorelli 's floristry, the royal had chosen to set upon ROUTE 117. FIGMUS the APPLETUN made for an excellent partner and scout when it came to searching for fertile ground, so he was summoned shortly after arriving.

Together, the pair saunter through the local forest shortly after mid-day. The scent of flowers and seawater is carried on the breeze, but they see neither just yet. Just the looming valley jutting out from the horizon ahead.

A SABLEYE peeks out at them from behind a tree. It doesn't seem aggressive to Remiel, however, so he simply chooses to ignore it as they walk by.

His assessment is proven correct afterwards, and it continues to curiously stare at them as they leave.

Only the Appletun stops to turn over its shoulder and get one last look at the specter. When it does so, however, it catches the last glimpse of its arm sink into the shadow of the tree's hole.

They find a SCOLIPEDE grazing on some vegetation in a clearing nearby. The surrounding area appears too rocky and damp to grow flowers reliably, however. So, with quiet, Remiel and his Appletun move past it.

Far ahead, in the distance, another promising patch of land appears to await them. Though something lurks in the bushes to try and keep them from reaching their destination.

The SIZZLIPEDE had, at some point, crawled up the Appletun's back. Perhaps, Remiel thought, it had fallen from a branch above when they hadn't been looking. Regardless, when it attempted to burrow itself (BUG BITE) within the apple-shaped dragon, its cover had been blown.

Figmus squashed it with a ROLLOUT. Afterwards, producing an empty luxury ball from his pack and capturing the bug was simple enough for Remiel to do.
