greyson was idly scrolling his phone, following a small rectangle on the bottom right of his screen that represented the map. it was inaccurate, when walking like this, but it was the best option he had. oh well.

his main priority, however, was actually looking up the resuraunt itself. reviews were good, and he was admittedly filtering his way to the worst of them. he wanted the downright honest opinions. some were no-doubt just customers review bombing this place because they were assholes, but...

"i haven't, no. but i've heard it's good. the alcohol is too, apparently."

good mac n cheese aside... drinks would be nice.

"really?" excitement brings an almost chirped tone to her syllables. and yep, there's the extra pep in her step.

she tries to rotate to face him fully but walking sideways is not a good idea. instead, she settles on craning her neck toward him a little more, even if his nose is deep in reviews on the bright screen of his phone.

"are you gonna drink with me? that'd be fun." well, maybe not for him if he has to carry her home...

he ushers her inside the restaurant and she's prodding gently at his side with one finger as she passes him. "you're buying all the drinks," she retorts. technically, she should since he was kind enough to teach her how to garden but... something about him buying her a drink makes her smile.
