Nina had summed it up perfectly.

With only a nod of communication, Felix walked back over, anger still laced between his calloused fingers as he tugged a blindfold back around her head. They'd need to take her back to her apartment to retrieve the data, and the last thing he'd want is to find her way back. Years of experience bleed through his fluid movements as he retired the blindfold back around the woman's head and slipped the mufflers over her ears. Only after finishing did he look back at Nina, eyes still hardened by the recent developments.

"Good job."

If it weren't for the shakey circumstances, he might've said more about her interrogation skills, but alas, his mind was off someplace else.

"Let's take her back and retrieve the data, then."

once the blindfold was on their new associate, her eyes cast briefly up at her quietly violent cohort. good job was good. it made up the smallest bit for the fact that she was going to be cringing at the memory of the woman’s finger snapping for the next forty-eight hours, at least.

she gave a silent, pressed smile with a small nod as she got up, waiting for him to finish preparing jessica for travel. almost done. the hard part was over. hopefully, they wouldn’t have cops tailing them, and she could go home soon.
