he was not wrong, she did not choose to go to him and stay, her parents had sins they thought she was too spoiled and lazy for her good. she still thought they had overreacted on it, surely there were other methods they could have used to make her more 'adult' but nope sending her to her grandpa was the first thing that they had to decide was best.

he just kept talking though more softly now, which she was more comfortable with than when he sound more strict. she looks at him, ready for a dream? did she have to have a dream to be a good adult? to be happy? she did not get it, but that was properly an adult thing. she looks at him as he then asks if she had thought about becoming a trainer like she knows he and grandma had been.

"I don't like asking my pokemon to fight," she say as she look down at her vulpix which was half asleep in the towel on her lap, "the traveling.. well it properly would be fun, but I'm not so keen on the idea of traveling just me and my pokemon" she sighs again "I like just being around pokemon, playing, grooming them, feed them and you know the normal stuff you have to do to keep them happy" she looks at him again "I don't think training is something for me" she finish.

It seemed like she was finally starting to see the logic of it all, though he could not ascertain her inner monologue. But it soothed him to see that she had the wits to accept the teachings of her elders.

“You could certainly settle down as a Pokémon Groomer.” He spoke. “I had no flair for aesthetics, but I know quite a few who decided to live off of grooming the Pokémon of Coordinators.” He hid a pang of sorry as the painful memory of his beloved wife flashed past him. She had had a flair for Aesthetics, had she but focused on it in her youth she might’ve made a fine Coordinator. “Whatever you decide to do, it will require discipline and good work ethics, and that’s what I am going to teach you.” A mischievous smile upon his lips, while he looked towards his grand-child.

Allison kept listening to her grandpa, as he talk about the battle part of being a trainer, though it was not something she would do unless she or her pokemon or family was in danger. "I take you and grandma battle a lot when you to were trainers right?" she never really ask much about that time in their life as a kid, that was more about how her dad was as a kid, and for candy or playtime.

"pokemon Groomer?" she asks, as she looks at him. true to be told she had not heard of that but then again, she had not dived into the knowledge of pokemon grooming and coordinator ether. she look down on the sleeping pokemon, maybe grooming was not a bad idea, she did enjoy bathing and brushing her vulpix and nine tales. Of course, she hades to learn more about other pokemon too, because no pokemon was the same even amongst themself. "do you go to school to be a groomer?" she ask as she look at him again, just chatting the glint of sadness in his eyes.

"you okay grandpa?" she ask concerned, as she pays more attention now she had seen that glint of sadness. though that concern flye away the soon she saw the smile on his lips, "you are going to make me work in the pub... aren't ya" she look at him with half-close eyes.

“Yeah, we did our fair share of battles, me more so than her,” Berthold commented. “I am sure you can get a fancy diploma at a school for Pokémon grooming, but, the ones I met and talked with, never did, so it’s not something you have to do.” He looked at Allison, it seemed that his suggestion had caught her interest. Though he knew if she intended to follow such a path then she would have to work much harder than she was used to, it was a competitive field, after all.

It seemed Allison caught on. “Oh, I am fine, dear.” He said. His troubles weren’t for her to witness or deal with. “Well, yes, unless you find some other way to pay for food and lodging,” Berthold stated matter-of-factly. He had sternly been reminded that this was not to be a charity, and he intended to follow that, it would do Allison good after all.

"was grandma not so much into fighting like you?" she asks as she looks at him, as he kept talking about that there might be a school for it, but you could be a groomer without it. she wonders if it would be best to do school or self-taught, with school she would have a diploma or something to show she knew what she was doing, but school.. yea school sounds boring, she would have to think about it.

"I know it..." she mumbles off course she could not just stay here without doing something, she hades hope but it did not come as a surprise she had to, she was her to learn to be more an adult after all. "so what is it I have to do? clean floors and tables?" she ask, clearly not too happy about this but it was that or finding a job herself and that was not something she want to do.

“She didn’t have the talent for it, which you have to have if you intend to live off of it,” Berthold admitted.

“Among other things. You will be cleaning, serving, and handling the caretaking of whatever Pokémon may find this place to be their home. Whatever role needs filling, you will be there.” He started “And don’t worry, you will be paid a fair wage.” He assured her.

It was then that he decided to get up from the chair. “Now, since my available rooms are limited, this room will serve as your place of residence, so make yourself comfortable.” He began to walk toward the door. “Now, I will have to get back to work. And you will be starting tomorrow, so I would suggest that you spend the rest of the day getting acquainted with the house and the area.” He finished before letting Allison to her own devices.

well look like Allison hade inherit the, 'not fit for battle' gen sins she hade try with her brother but ya.. she did not win that was for sure.

as he listed some of the many things she had to do, she already felt tired just by hearing it. she had no idea how to be a servant, taking care of pokemon was not a problem at all, she already did that for her pokemon, and cleaning... well she could the basics. even though he say he would pay her a fair wage she was not looking forward to the days ahead at the moment, she was still mad she hades to do all this against her will but she try not to show it and she try to think positive, she got to be with her favorite person I the world. "fine I will grandpa, see ya after work" she said, ash she stay in the sofa sins she did not want to wake up the sleeping pokemon on her lab.
