The Scizor's breathing is labored, and he's clearly feeling the effects of the battle. Despite this, the Shaymin simply shakes itself off. Ripper is shocked at just how much punishment the little Pokemon could take, just as much of how much of a wallop it packed. Thankfully, the battle was over, and the Shaymin accepted Thomas.

"You did an excellent job, Ripper. Now you can rest, bud.", Thomas told the Scizor.

The trainer recalled the Scizor back to his Pokeball, before going over to the Shaymin, crouching down to its level, and offering to pet the green and white creature. The Shaymin would accept the gesture, allowing the large human to pet it affectionately. Thomas would smile, noticing the floral bridge had reformed.

"May we walk down the bridge together, before I capture you?", he inquired.

The Shaymin accepted his offer. Thomas would bring out Pulse the Audino. The fluffy healer looked around in awe at his new surroundings, before noticing the Shaymin peering up at him. The Audino let out a happy little squeal, before picking up the Shaymin and giving it a hug. The Shaymin accepted the hug, nuzzling the pink and cream-colored creature in turn.

Thomas smiled, hugging Pulse as well. The Audino reciprocated, giving his master the closest thing he could to a big bearhug. Thomas would then take the Audino's hand. The Audino would offer the Shaymin a ride on top of his head, before they took a stroll down the floral bridge, back to their home.

As the Shaymin went down to land on the Audino's head, it snuggled into the Audino, thinking they could get used to this.

Finally, once they made it back to Duvet Ranch, Thomas would produce a vacant Pokeball, gently tapping the Shaymin with it. The Mythical Pokemon quickly accepted. Thomas would quickly let Shaymin out of the Pokeball, allowing them to freely roam the grounds of the Ranch, and interact with the various Pokemon living there.

"Welcome to the family.", Thomas said with a warm smile.
