Melody wandered into the safari once more looking to find some cute baby Pokémon that had been offered this month. She bolted into it running, trying to go really fast as she seemed to be in a hurry. But in truth she just wanted to cuddle the cuties. [break][break]

Accompanying her was Cobalion, he also wanted to see what exactly this...safari was about. It was his first time visiting it as he didn't really like the idea of.. 'capturing' Pokémon itself. But Melody assured him it was a form of starting a friendship between people and Pokémon! He was still sus.

"Look! Over there!" she said rushing forward as Cobalion walked slowly behind her. "Yes! I found one!" she said finding a lone cherubi in the grass and picking it up. "You are SO CUTE AND PRECIOUSSS" she said hugging it tightly as it tried to wiggle free of her grasp. [break][break]

Cobalion observed silently, how could this Cherubi not break out of her grip? It had powers stronger than a lone human as he had not given her a blessing...Did it secretly enjoy this? Melody looked back over at Cobalion and tilted her head. "Whatcha thinking about?" she asked curiously as he just moved his head from side to side to signify no. [break][break]

Once the Cherubi was thoroughly snuggled and tuckered out Melody bopped a pokeball onto it's head to see if it would accept her off of companionship with her. Eventually the pokeball beeped on the final timer and she cheered "Yes! A new friend!" Cobalion smiled, he was right to select her as a canidate. She held a genuine love for pokemon, each one. "Alright cobalion! Let's go onto the next one!" she said charging along as she wanted to blitz through this safari with lightning speed.

Melody found another cutie to make her buddy in the safari. This time it was a Togepi, one that seemed especially young. She approached the baby, apparently by surprise since it seemed completely unaware of the of her presence. However when it finally did it freaked out and wildly wiggled it's fingers from side to side and Melody panicked, "COBALION HELP!" she shouted as the Pokémon quickly scooped her up as Metronome called forth the power of draco meteor.[break][break]

Cobalion leapt around gracefully dodging all of the meteors descending from the sky. Melody had focused in on togepi, she knew to end this chaos she had to capture the togepi, she grabbed one of the safari balls and sniped the togepi right on the noggin. After three shakes the ball confirmed the capture. [break][break]

She let out a sigh of relief. "That..that was close, togepis are kinda spooky..." she said patting cobalion on his side. "Thanks for the save there, I was in a pickle.". She hopped off her trusty stead and went over to grab the pokeball. "Should I let it out now?" Cobalion shook his head from side to side, they should let it calm down a bit first.

She saw a nidoran that was eating some berries peacefully. Melody didn't really want to bother it since it seemed like it's mother was nearby. Awww... [break][break]

She patted cobalion on his back "Let's keep exploring. These two have each other, he doesn't need a friend." she says as Cobalion nodded his head and they both continued along their merry way.

Next melody happened to find another little fellow in the safari. A small fletchinder who was seemingly picking at nothing in the grass. They had both sat there and watched the bird pick at the ground, they wondered if the pokemon was hungry and so Melody came in with a resolution. [break][break]

She had brought out an oran berry and offered it to the Fletchling, however the bird scoffed at her offer. Turning it's head away at Melody, huh? Wasn't it hung- Ohhhhh. [break][break]

She began to squish the oran berry and dig through it, looking for the seeds and handing them to fletchling one by one as the pokemon gratefully accepted her offerings. Cobalion had watched, stunned Melody even offered her help after the pokemon so rudely denied her offering. She managed to stay calm and analyze why it didn't even want it. That was odd, normally she'd flip out no? Well that would be true if it was a human, she was truly an interesting case. After the trio sat around eating the berry, melody eating the pulp because she didn't want the food to go to waste and ended up getting it all over herself since it was pretty sloppy, pulled out an oran berry covered safari ball and captured the birdie. "Alright, only one more left cobalion! Let's get a move on."
