Tianyu kneels easily as his Larvesta shuffles over, her fur singed with pieces lightly smouldering. Licking his forefinger, the man reaches out to extinguish one of the smouldering tips beneath his thumb, the action followed by a gently soothing scratch behind the pokemon's head.

"I haven't," he confirms in a distracted voice to Cyg as to whether he has met her employer. Something is spoke about holistic medicine, his throat humming a note of acknowledgement at the words, before he pulls out a small sachet from his clothing. Prising the cloth open reveals a small pellet of herbal medicine; though she grimaces at the taste, Xiulan nibbles on the offered remedy until it is gone.

Tianyu then stands straight again, his hands dusting together before he clasps them behind his back. "You've done well, Xiulan," he praises in a low, soothing timbre, the Larvesta puffing up with pride. A haughty sniff from Daji signals the appearance of a Charmeleon, and without being commanded the Larvesta returns to the fray. Working in tandem with the Ninetales, the two have soon knocked the Charmeleon off its feet and scuffed its skin raw from their combined attacks.

As a scarlet pokeball is easily tossed to complete the capture, Tianyu's gaze casts askance as the Larvesta shimmers with light; cocooned from sight by the bright expanse, the little bug pokemon evolves into a Volcarona. His expression pleased at the development, he announces, "I believe that is all the training we have in us for the day."

"It was a pleasure to meet you, Cyg, but I believe I should be going. Thank you for the company."
