Andrea giggled as the overly excited Seadra splashed water everywhere. "Teehee~ Don't be so hard on them. They just want to play!" She said to Seadra's less than excited trainer, while wiping her glasses with the sleeve of her flamboyant costume. Couldn't leave any saltwater on them!

Speaking of things that wanted to play, a pair of claws reached towards the girl's Kabuto, who scampered off in fear. "Looks like you're not ready to battle yet. That's fine, Barron can handle this one." The young PokéManiac said, calling back the Fossil Pokémon, and sending out her dependable Aggron in its stead.

The wild Binacle emerged from the water and used Shell Smash to break free from the blue rock it was bound to. It then went for a super-charged Ancient Power, but the armored rhinoceros Protected against the attack, before parrying with a strong Iron Head that decimated Binacle's lowered defenses.

"Good job, Barron! That should do it!" Andrea remarked, hurling a Pokéball towards the weakened wild Pokémon. Some people thought Binacle and its evolution looked ugly, however she disagreed.

The dragon-hooded girl gasped as the man desperately tried to save his Seadra from being eaten by a wild Noctowl. In the end, the owl made for a new addition to his team, while Andrea outstretched her arm to help the dark-haired youth get out of the water. "Congrats on that catch, although Noctowl probably wouldn't have eaten your Pokémon. The spines on Seadra's body are poisonous, you know." She pointed out, flexing her Pokémon knowledge.

Her flexing time was cut short when a little Wingull flew overhead, stretching its immovable wings to assert dominance. "Barron, get that bird!" Andrea ordered. Her Aggron used Autotomize to make his form lighter, before launching himself in the air, ramming into the seagull with his Iron Head.

The Wingull fell unto the ground, dazed. It tried to Roost the damage away, but that made it a sitting duck (pun not intended, since this was decidedly not a duck) to the Aggron's next attack. One Head Smash later, the poor bird was down for the count, it eyes turning into swirls. Andrea threw a Pokéball. She could practically hear her heart pounding in her chest.

"Don't you think you were a bit too hard on that one?" Andrea took note of the unnecessarily cruel way in which Gerald and his Seadra had handled that poor Sobble. A potential debate over ethics was cut short by the arrival of yet more wild critters, such as a Gliscor that crawled out of the sand.

If that half-bat, half-scorpion anomaly knew any Ground moves, Barron was in for a bad time, so Andrea switched him out for a Pokémon that had a strikingly similar body shape, but a slightly more favorable matchup. "Nala, freeze it!" She ordered the unusually-colored Nidoqueen that burst out of the ball, who took the Sky Uppercut like a champ, before firing an Ice Beam at the Gliscor, turning it into a large block of ice.

"See? You don't have to keep beating them up until they submit. Sometimes a super effective move is all you need." The pajama-clad woman pointed out, before throwing an empty Pokéball at the frozen Gliscor.

Pulling Staravia towards the ground first and then bashing it with a Dragon Hammer? Andrea was thoroughly impressed. "Are you kidding? That was awesome! I love your Tropius!" She jovially declared, clapping her hands at a rapid pace.

Meanwhile, Nala was chasing down a wild Clawitzer, hitting it with a super effective Thunderbolt. Unfortunately, the attack was so impactful, it scared the blue lobster away, causing it to scamper off to the sea before Andrea had a chance to catch it. Oops!
