When they return to Sootopolis, later, it's with an unexpected passenger.

"You've got something stuck to your back."

Even with her long neck craning around to peer at the Pyukumuku, Lugia has trouble reaching between her bone-white spines to pluck the offender from her back. Gavin can't help but to laugh at her frustrated huff, an action that earns him a fierce glare.

"Hold still, then; I'll get it off."

What a sight they must make, on the long stretch of beach.

Though he considers tossing the Pyukumuku back into the sea as the signs posted up along the beach suggest, in the end he fetches a luxury ball from the house and traps the Pokemon inside. Another one for the collection!
