In the light of the MORNING SUN, the CHERUBI attempted to surrounded the trainer and his Typhlosion with a FLOWER SHIELD. Perhaps it was protecting a grove nearby, Remiel thought. Regardless of the reason, however, he was not worried about moving forward.

Said shield was dissolved promptly with a MYSTICAL FIRE from Dusana's mane. This purple flame proceeded to ignite the tree upon which the Cherubi had targeted them from. As it watched the flames slowly creep upward, the two of them left.

Dusana gave chase. But, quite frankly, it was futile. The SHINY TOGEPI seemed to have some kind of SUPER LUCK. Chasing it was met with all manner of embarrassing accidents and pitfalls. Eventually, when Remiel stopped to catch his breath as he tried to catch up to them, the little baby Pokémon would approach him instead.

It seemed unaware that he was the trainer in charge of the ghostly Typhlosion chasing after it. Instead, it seemed eager to make a friend of him and asked to be held up. Perhaps, Remiel thought, it hoped he would combat the vicious predator it was running from.

That made retrieving an empty luxury ball and pressing it against its forehead that much easier, however.

The SHINY NIDORAN had mastered some semblance of over the elements, summoning an EARTH POWER to blast away at the trainer and his Typhlosion in a straight line. The two narrowly evaded the attack in two separate directions. Afterwards, Dusana returned the gesture with an attack of her own: an INFERNAL PARADE.

What appeared to be a storm of living ghosts swarmed the small critter before them. It tried desperately to escape them, but was dragged back in and overwhelmed in an instant. In the aftermath of this attack, Remiel pulled another empty luxury ball from his pack and tossed it at the near unconscious creature.

GALE WINGS blowing confidently through the blanket of trees in the oasis announce the arrival of something large and powerful. It is only when the hurricane-like gale subsides, however, that Remiel realizes it is something slightly... different.

A SHINY FLETCHLING has perched itself upon his shoulder. It appears wholly interested on the granola bar he has sat down to eat. His Typhlosion, in the meantime, stirs awake from her nap briefly before noting the little bird and returning to sleep.

The prince, eventually, gives in. He feeds the little bird not once, or twice, but three times. And that appears sufficient enough to convince it to stay with him for the rest of this journey.

A wave of MUDDY WATER suddenly began to flood the area they were in. The ground quaked and dissolved in its presence, fueling it even more as it passed through. The dead trees caught in its path were shaken, their branches snapping and creaking.

Remiel and Dusana, in the meantime, found a nice boulder to take refuge upon as the flood passed. The former swore he saw a SHINY AZURILL riding it like a wave, but it passed by far too quickly for him to be sure.

In a forest of grey death, the SHINY PONYTA's crackling blue mane stuck out like a lighthouse in a sea of fog. The same, however, could be said of Dusana's fiery mane. And, before they could advance much further, it took notice of the Typhlosion and attempted to flee.

Remiel was swift to order an INFERNAL PARADE that would chase the pony down relentlessly through the dead woods. Struck by these spirits, despite its AGILITY, the Ponyta stumbled onto its side and struggled to get back up before the prince cast his empty luxury ball at it.
