This was the opposite of keeping hidden. Once Poppy had heard of this mission, everything in her had been tempted to argue against it. She had joined for a reason, and doing some heist went against all of it.[break][break]

She's still not sure she isn't just lucky right now, though, so she keeps her mouth shut and makes her way to Mauville city with an oversized hoodie tucked over her head. Does it make her seem suspicious? Yeah, probably, but that's not exactly her problem if Rocket wants to throw her into a mission like this.[break][break]

At least, if nothing else, she knows her way around, having been pulled along by her mother a couple of times before. Mauville City is still overwhelming, in the worst way, but it serves a realization that, even with the hoodie, Poppy just looks like any other face in the crowd.[break][break]

Especially once she finds a bench to sit on, shoulders hunched like she's waiting on someone. She just hopes either her partner in crime gets there soon, or anyone passing by thinks she's just on her phone. And if they do, that they don't come close enough to realize she doesn't have a phone.[break][break]

Not a new one, anyways.

They’d planned to meet on a bench that had a decent sightline of the jewelry store, but the only person he’d seen sitting there thus far was a teenager. “Shit…” Rowan muttered underneath his breath, suddenly understanding the situation.

Recruiting the underage for Team Rocket hadn’t been a surprise to him ever since he’d met Eris Halla , but he didn’t think they’d sink low enough to send them on potentially dangerous missions. If she was to be arrested for this crime, her life would be over. “Hey.” He’d sit next to her, adjusting his hat to obscure his eyes. “Suppose you’re Poppy, yeah?”

So far, nobody in Rocket has been what Poppy's expecting.[break][break]
Part of it has to be her own bias, but still- if jayden cross didn't look a lot older than her, then Poppy had to guess that this new arrival was around the same age range. If they were even right, and this wasn't just some stranger taking a break from walking.

Her voice is low, and she tilts her head towards the jewelry store, just barely. She isn't sure how to go about this, has never even thought about stealing everything, but common sense dictates that outright saying it probably isn't a great idea.
