HELLO, EVERYONE! We're entering our 7th Arc on Hoenn! The setting and timeline will be updated to reflect this. Stay tuned as we explore the year of the dragon (or draconids?), while the site narrative brings Hoenn closer and closer to unparalleled dangers.

JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. hoenn is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise.

skin is created by pharaoh leap with graphical help from red. we would like to thank leap and meulk for their additional templates (staff temp, custom pc).

next, garden/swarm spawn, ranger raid, black market, pkmn contest post templates were coded by ulla.

teal has created the wild spawn, endeavour list, league card, exhibits. he and spiral also created the gachapon script, while the former created the gachapon template.

lav has coded in UI accessibility features on Hoenn (cogwheel icon on the navigational sidebar).

characters belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours. thank you for stopping by.

SYNOPSIS: the hoenn league has successfully diverted the 99943 meteno meteroid into an alternate universe. consequently, the region has experienced a violent planeshifting, a bombardment of terastal crystals, and now sports various rifts to realms in the ultra wilds. as megalopolan activity begins to rise, trainers who embark in expeditions to these realms uncover secrets behind the condition of the multiverse.
meanwhile, team rocket and the league amass resources to aid in their conflict against each other. the crime syndicate is poised to take more of the region territorially, while the league ponders a direct offense. legendary pokemon roam the region as potential benefactors or ruinous omens, leaving many to ponder how the hoenn region will ultimately be responsible for the end of all worlds.

it's been a while, hasn't it?

since she's come to hoenn, since she's sat in hoenn. since she's been let go of team rocket, since she was finally freed. oh, the humanity; she was let free after her mind's broken, and her fatigue is immeasurable. to her side, a duskull hovers, letting out a soft whoosh of a ghost as he eyes his trainer, with slight concern.

the woman wears a smile, waving her hand, then reaching to gently pat the top of the skull. "don't worry about me" she says, smile to her lips that never reaches her eyes "i'm find. let's just go home."

it's worried. how cute.

marisol's smiling, and in her eyes you can see the tiniest hint of a gleam. it's unfortunately snuffed out when the clitter clattering of a gumshoos is heard on the route. marisol gives it a small once over, watching as it marches along so valiantly. gross.

a banette, wandering around in the evening, probably looking for the trainer who abandoned it when it was a kiddo. what a shame, she thinks, it'll probably be wandering for a while. so, with a smile to her lips, she thinks: why don't we put it out of its misery?

so she smiles with the duskull at her side, waving her hand towards the ghost pokemon "shadow sneak" she commands, watching the duskull fade into the shadows to land a hit on the banette. with its poise broken, she throws a pokeball at the wandering ghost.

no one will miss it.
