She had signed up for a fun little tournament, Melody needing a distraction from her...new found problems that she' rather just forget. [break][break]

Funnily enough, her first opponent is someone she knew fairly well. Eris Halla herself! Melody made her way over, her hitmontop doing his best impersonation of a beyblade and spinning around her in circles. "Yo eris!" she says acting her usual cheery-self. She had gotten better at faking it ever since he trip with skyler and angelo. [break][break]

"You ready?! Here I come! Go top!" she says as Hitmontop then suddenly begins to try using a rolling kick on Eris's Zeraora.

Her hitmontop got schooled as zeraora suddenly man handled her zeraora quickly. [break][break]

"Hitmontop! Back up and hit em from a distance!" she ordered. Shit there was some more powerful weight behind Eris's words. She was serious about beating Melody this time around but Melody was going to give it her all this time around. Her hitmontop spun away from zeraora, and stood on his feet, putting his hands together to charge up and fire a focus blast towards his opponent.

Jesus christ this zeraora was a fucking monster. [break][break]

it's thunder punch ripped right through the focus blast and hit hitmontop directly. However he reorients himself in mid air, bouncing off the wall with it's foot and looking to slam right back into Zeraora with a Counter attack as a blazing fire like aura enveloped it's fist.

Hitmontop seemed to be able to muster enough strength to land a strong blow on zeraora, contending with the plasma fist that it had launched her way. "Nice one bud!" she calls out to it. [break][break]

He spins with a little flourish to show his joy, not wanting to let Melody down he revs himself up again. Spinning wildly as he dashes towards zeraora preparing a ROLLING KICK attack.

The rolling kick proves to be effective as it seems that the wide guard was not quick enough. Melody was quickly gaining back her tempo in this battle. Let's just hope she and hitmon top could keep going. [break][break]

"Hitmontop! Fake out!" she calls out as hitmontop seemingly dashes forward again intent on kicking zeraora but quickly pivots and slaps his hands together creating a powerful gust of wind in front of zeraora.
