there is little she can do to dissuade fernando. if it were anyone else, she would balk at their intrinsic hubris. humans are finite creatures - by definition they cannot grasp what it means to be infinite. and yet he seeks to prepare for just that. no, instead her lips curl in a knowing smile.

she has made her bed. madman or not, she will do as he requests. besides, if anyone could do it, it's him.

and so the conversation turns back to him. "is he intelligent? does he have...drive? ambition?" like us.

he closes out each window one by one. when he mouses over the deerling’s file, a time of assimilation is listed with an exact timestamp. the progress bar below has completed and fernando hovers over it for a moment before it too disappears.

his questioning stare is not missed, but she will show no shame for this. for as long as she has lived, her skin has been porcelain - unfeeling, above it all. passion and lechery are as close to feeling as she gets. and yet when she thinks of him, them, there is an affection in her heart that is alien...human.

she stands, abandoning shiva on the couch. the lioness grumbles a rough purr of objection, but doesn't otherwise move. her claws flex just a bit, threatening to tear the leather of fernando's couch.

"while i may be of my own devices, darling, know that i do as you will," she says, cherry lips pursed, smirk in her eyes. she traces her fingertips over his shoulder and then goes to his bedroom to fetch a shower.
