• Born and raised in the coastal town of Hulbury in southeastern Galar, Jack is a notable writer and photographer. Having won a writing contest in secondary school, Jack launched his career as a travel blogger with the various tourism boards of Galar.
• After secondary school, he received his bachelor's degree at the University of Hammerlocke and has traveled throughout the Galar region.
• Jack's travel blog, "Beyond the Horizon", has experienced moderate success, especially after moving from Galar to Hoenn.
• He holds a variety of paid partnerships with local tourism boards and travel companies and his exploits are well documented on his blog.

• Jack is a Ranger based out of the Verdanturf station, though he accepts assignments all over the region.
• He was promoted to the rank of Elite Ranger after the Blood, Mud, & Iron raid in recognition of his work and his continued service as a Ranger.
• Jack supported League forces and assisted in civilian and pokemon evacuations in the fight against Kyurem during the To Sow Dragon's Teeth prophecy.

• Jack fought in the Resurfaced Treasure conflict on Route 105. He fiercely battled many disguised Rockets (Aurelie Lefevre, Zev Harcourt, Makoto Kurumi), faced off against Elisabeth Fiorelli, and was tortured by a masked BARNABY FINCH.

PERSONAL SECRETS

• Jack's parents were often busy with work, which left him to his own devices through much of his childhood. Due to this, he has formed a strong bond with the yamper (which evolved into a boltund) that grew up with him.
• Jack was nerdy and overweight as a child and was often teased for this during school. This teasing developed into outright bullying in late primary school, giving Jack a lot of experience in brawling. Because of this social isolation, Jack had very few friends until he left home for university and even then struggled to develop deep relationships.
• While he lives an outwardly frugal life, Jack has acquired a respectable amount of savings from his earnings.
• Jack returned to Galar in the aftermath of Necrozma's attack and spent months searching for his parents and trying to help the communities of Galar in any way that he was able. During this time he honed his battle and survival skills.
• After Necrozma's attack on Galar, Jack's parents are missing and believed to be dead.
• Due to DRK Triad interference, Jack was sent back in time to Mount Pyre during the Meteno crisis and was killed by Palkia's Spatial Rend before returning to life when the rift to The Border opened.
