and her head turns, sparing a glance over the shoulder. her shadow ripples. it's not her own movement but something else. someone else.

a cheshire cat smile and two red eyes stare up at her from the dark safety of her own shadow.

ah.

"come along, then."

an offering. enticing, luxurious, friendly.

"we'll tend to the flowers together."

the gengar snickers and reveals its head enough. it nods, sunlight painting it a plethora of purples as it peaks through the crown shyness of the trees and their leaves.

she hopes it'll stay longer. for her, not the flowers.
