The sounds of a soft pitter-patter met his ears before long.[break]
Curious, he turned towards where he'd assumed the source to be.[break][break]

Upon doing so, he'd been promptly met with the sight of a familiar, lightly hued creature eying him from a fair distance away. The man blinked shortly before smiling softly, narrowing his eyes while he and the beady eyed vulpine beast simply stared at one another. Before long, however, he shifted his attention down towards his pocket, plucking a small bag he'd been keen to bring for his own Pokemon.[break][break]

He took a small treat out before looking up once more, tossing it out towards the Espeon within a careful manner.[break][break]

He hummed softly as he watched it sniff the treat before picking it up and scampering off.[break][break]

He’d only barely seen the twin tailed beast bound away before another, smaller creature seemed to find its way into view. In contrast to the first Pokemon, however, the man found his gaze drifting further down amidst the grasses in order to catch sight of the little thing as it wobbled so earnestly and rapidly across the clearing.[break][break]

His lips curled inward to stifle a sudden smile, as well as a brewing chuckle that he’d fought back just enough to prevent himself from garnering attention.[break][break]

Resolved as he was to leave it be, he did have to admit that the way it and those of its specimen walked around had always been rather adorable.[break][break]

…And even with all the resolve in the world, he quickly realized how difficult it was to avoid the local fauna when they, themselves, had been the ones to approach him.[break][break]

Within the midst of the second creature to arrive had been a third one— a familiar looking insect, by the look of it. Although it seemed to maintain its distance for a slightly longer time than the rest, the Stone kept an idle gaze upon it as it fluttered about, as well as when it began to hover over towards where he’d sat himself once they’d met eyes.[break][break]

After some debate, he breathed a sigh of faux exasperation and offered it another treat in truce and good will before tossing a Pokeball its way.[break][break]
