He sighed deeply into the night, watching as the frost of his breath drifted up towards the heavens once he’d pulled the mask atop his face down.[break][break]

Weeks. It had taken weeks for him to get the damn job done, but after toil, and mishap, and every single change of plan along the way, he’d finally done it. He’d pulled his hood down sometime after leaving the scene within his midst (his wrist flexed and rolled idly while walking along, free of the glove that had previously bound it), simply enjoying the chill of the evening air as he proceeded down the pathway.[break][break]

...If this fucking client changes the script one more time, they’re next.[break][break]

The money was what mattered in the end, but even then, he didn’t have the time to keep playing chicken with someone that kept leading him back and forth with invalid info or otherwise.

As much as he needed a bit of a breather to clear his mind amidst other matters, he knew full well that he likely couldn’t afford to linger in the area too long. At some point, he’d lost himself within his thoughts and frustrations in regards to the varied twists and turns his most recent hit had taken him, only coming back into himself after noting his steps having stopped at some point.[break][break]

He stood as he was for just a small while longer prior to spotting a floating little creature within the clearing. An absentminded glare followed it in debate before he eventually inhaled deeply, holding the breath within his lungs before brandishing a vacant Pokeball from his reserves and tossing it towards it.[break][break]

Walking over after its form drew into the capsule, he picked it up before beginning to walk once more.[break][break]

Guess it’s just gonna be a friendly discussion we have tomorrow.[break][break]
