After her excursion into Shoal Cave searching for pokémon earlier in the day, Karissa was more than happy to spend the rest of the day just lounging around Mossdeep City. She was still planning on being here for another few days anyway, and she had promised Snow some relaxation and a nap, so there was really no rush for her to do anything or go anywhere. She had found herself a nice spot with a beautiful view of the ocean to sit down and enjoy lunch, and with Snow asleep at her side, attempted to just enjoy the downtime in the nice weather.[break][break]

It was peaceful and serene here, despite the sounds of city life and tourists being ever present in the background. She absentmindedly pet Snow while watching pokémon fly through the sky and leap up out of the water every so often in the distance. "You really wanted this nap, huh?" She chuckled to herself, knowing that she wouldn't get any form of response to her question. "You're missing out. There's so much we could be doing on a day like this."[break][break]

If she was the type to laze about, she could easily have drifted off to sleep with her companion. However, Karissa was never the type to just waste the day away. It was important to relax every once in a while, sure... but she still couldn't help herself from keeping an eye out for something interesting to do, or someone interesting to talk to.

The Pokémon was practically dragging their trainer through the streets of Mossdeep City, their destination: one of the many stores that sold sweets in the district. "You really like those fish-shaped cookies, that much?" Mistral trilled with frustration, letting go of Rowan's arm and stopping in the middle of the street, starting to squawk and berate him for some imagined sleight. [break][break]

"Okay, okay. They're not just any fish-shaped cookies, I got it." Rowan rolled his eyes, amused more than anything. He'd gotten used to the teenage angst of the juvenile Pokémon by now, it was hard for Mistral to phase him. "Well? Go on then, or else they'll be sold out before you get there." Mistral nodded in agreement, once more setting off for the bakery, trainer in tow.
