Soft footsteps followed behind the minor league gym leader as the two crept into the dark and honey-filled hive. Tugging her collar, she could barely shield her nostrils from the pungent stench of sickly sweet honey.

The light shining off from glalie wasn't enough for her to see far past Cian's broad shoulders, so instead of trying to gain some semblance of awareness, she decided to do the next best thing. With her index and thumb, she gingerly pinched the end of his shirt, linking the two and letting him continue to lead her forward.

The light was well appreciated, because while she still couldn't exactly peer over his shoulders still, it allowed her to actually see the space between them.

"And let there be light," she chuckled, mainly to herself, as they continued forward.

When Cian came to an abrupt stop, so did she, but not until bumping into his back. "Shit, sorry, babe."

But why were they stopping? Only then did she think to poke her head out from his side, and well, they certainly did have a good reason stop. "Ooh boy." What should they do? Penelope wasn't the best at these types of situations -- mainly because her naturally instincts were to go with the simplest solution, and that typically wasn't the BEST solution. "Hey, maybe you should try telling them to buzz off." Another joke, but to be honest, the woman wasn't here to take things too seriously.
