a young woman with short, rosebud hair stumbles out of a patch of shrubbery nearby the preparing niky. she regains her footing soon thereafter, but not before making some noise. her shoes stumble all across the local underbrush, crushing thorns and twigs and thistles underfoot, and thereby punctuates her arrival with the crackle of crumbling flora.

in comparison, her florges glides out of the thicket soon thereafter; undisturbed, regal, and objectively perfect when compared to its owner. the young woman, a local police cadet named blythe, seems unaware of this fact. indeed, she only straightens upon realizing that she's inadvertently stumbled into the area of another trainer, likely causing quite a commotion in the process. it's with a wavering, sweat-laced smile that she speaks to this blond stranger.

"oh, sorry! is the training going well...?"

she laughs, albeit tremblingly. he's right—her landing could use some work. nonetheless, she takes the offered hand with a grateful nod. "thank you!" she chirps, though her blue eyes briefly glance away with a sheepish smile. "sorry if..."

before she can finish her half-baked apology, rustling nearby distracts her, and she stumbles her way into a stance befitting of a real trainer! good thing, too. that roserade really catches her eyes, with the bushel of bright flowers on either arm and an intelligent sparkle in its elegant eyes. she already has a roselia, but... what's one more? the more, the merrier, she always says! though the boy who just helped her up is walking away in search of something more, blythe's carefully planning the angle of how she'll throw her pokeball.

of course, her florges just makes it easy for her. donmai immediately enters into a contest of elegance that the roserade can hardly refuse, easily lining up a perfect shot for blythe! with a beleaguered grin, blythe throws her pokeball!

another flower to add to the garden! blythe's positively beaming when the roserade comes with her in the form of a Pokeball, and the bright color diffuses to the rest of her demeanor as she continues to walk through the meadow, only vaguely following after the boy who seems to know what he's doing. that's great for her—she's falling pretty short in the whole "knowing what you're doing" department.

luckily for her, flowers lie in one of her very few specialties. how exciting, then, that a floette should appear on a footpath beside her! though the boy rises into the sky with a particularly impressive display of power, blythe can't help but gush over the idea of having another florges for donmai to interact with eventually. the idea practically consumes blythe's whole being as she silently instructs florges to go distract the meandering floette with a mere nod of her head. what floette could resist the endless allure of flower power?
