It was strange being in her mother's hometown as the two of them hardly visited, her grandparents were back home with her mother and they wrote to her from time to time. She'd met them before and they were kind though she wondered if her mother was alright, the two of them hadn't spoken in a few months. Izumi had been planning to visit here for a while but couldn't tell her quite yet, not unless she found something that would be an answer to their problems. As she rode a bike from the Mauville Bike Shop, and her Chatot flew next to her, she loved the atmosphere the place brought, welcoming and open though a bit dark as it looked like rain clouds were coming in right now. "I should make this visit quick, though who knows if finding dad will be easy..." She finally made it into the city and locked up her bike at the nearest Pokemon Center, luckily she could leave it there and not have to carry it around. Her first stop were a few friends of her father, but as she took out her notebook to walk around she felt as though someone was following her. It was probably just paranoia as this was a weird feeling for her, being her felt strange yet she felt closer to had dad than before.
