She had first rented an apartment in Rustboro because of its proximity to the shoot locations, but truth be told, the area near the city has begun to grow on her… especially now that production has been delayed because apparently the world is fucking ending.

Since there’s not much for her to do and since she’s basically trapped in Hoenn, it only makes sense to see what the region has to offer. What else is she going to do? Wallow in self-pity? Things like those just don’t suit Fae.

When a famous actress invites you to go hiking, you don't really say no, do you? Well, Melody hadn't really met her before but it would be good to at least build connections right? [break][break]

She sent out her Runegrius, wanting to experiment how Mummy interacts with Pokémon who faint or are caught. "It's been. Fae does know how it is, because she has been involved in so many scandals and controversies over the years that they’re one of the first things people see when looking up her name. It’s why Melody’s comment gets a laugh out of her – dry but honest.

A bark on her Mightyena’s part alerts her to the presence of a Scrafty, and soon enough, Cicero’s ROUGH PLAY ends up putting the wild pokémon out of commission. Fae does no more than sigh and chuck a pokéball in its general direction. Better take it to a pokémon centre later or something.

”You’ll be fine, though.” She continues as if nothing, petting Cicero when he returns to her side. ”Just enjoy your break… as much as you can enjoy it with everything that’s going on, I guess.”

A Torterra suddenly uproots itself and shakes off the dirt from the top half of it's shell. It was alerted by their conversation and footsteps and decided to suddenly attack the pair. But Melody was quicker on the draw. [break][break]

The runegrius lunge forward with a shadow claw at the turtle's neck, aiming for the weak spot in it's shell to disable the Pokémon in one quick movement. But these pokemon were known for their sturdy nature (not really) It pushes back against the runegrieus, triggering the mummy ability to activate. [break][break]

She sends in back up, her Pyukumuku named marshmellow. Spitting up gastro acid all over the Pokémon and attacking also with a counter attack. The pokemon eventually goes down and Melody tosses a pokeball at the toreterra. "I'm just trying to act like the world's not ending you know. The league's plan is pretty solid. Solid enough to keep me going or else I would have gone mad already."she replies. [break][break]

"You have any plans for during the meteor?" she asks.
