Temp didn't have a whole lot of tug in Rocket om his own. He was just a Grunt for a long time. Then a Gym Leader, against Rocket. Now he was Cillian Quinn's boy toy. He was just glad that Martín del Mar liked him.

See, Temp wanted to talk with bryan delarosa. They had worked together a few times in the past; nothing huge or memorable but the guy was alright with him. But Bryan was a Beast now so he was a bit harder to track down.

The Petalburg facility made him nervous. Temp didn't trust being underground, even in man-made structures. He rubbed the back of his neck and sighed. Swab sniffed at one of the loose boxes, the Swirlix puppy wagging it's tail at his side.

He was standing off to the side, watching his pokemon toting in a line with several boxes as he was transferring materials to his garden. [break][break]

The tree had been thriving in the garden no one could locate. He'd prefer to keep it that way as long as possible but it was only a matter of time until people found it. [break][break]

He notices Tempest Quinn was nearby but didn't really say much as it was natural for other rocket members to be in the area. "Be careful with that one." he comments to his grimmsnarl who wrapped his hair tendrils around the cardbox tightly.

Another quick scan of the area and Temp spotted him. bryan delarosa and his pokemon looked to be busy. So he approached, putting a friendly smile on his face. The cut on his lip was still fresh; a new battle scar from the events of Mt. Pyre.

"Bryan?" He calls out to get the other man's attention.

Swab darted forward without fear or care, the Swirlix puppy just walking up to Bryan to sniff at his pants leg instead. His little tail wagged lazily as he gave a small yip up at the other.

"Sorry if I'm bothering you, dude! I wanted to, like, ask about some stuff."

Temp state's his purpose without Bryan even needing to ask. But the response temp gets is but a raised eyebrow for a few moments as he wasn't exactly sure if he wanted to tell temp. But he decides to reward the man's curiosity. [break][break]

"Moving supplies to a secret location of mine." he says before looking temp up and down. [break][break]

"Do you need me to patch something up on you or somethin? Cuts or bruises?" he asks curiously as it seemed like a lot of people had been visiting him as of late to fix certain body parts and minor cuts n bruises thanks to his blessing from Xerneas.

Oh, right, duh. Because of his cool Avatar stuff! Shaking his head, Temp mentally slapped himself for being so dense.[break][break]

"Nah- but thank you for offering, dude! I wanted to ask how you became a Beast and stuff. Like, uh..." He clicked his tongue and took a hand from his pocket, waving it around idly as if trying to lead the other to his thought process.[break][break]

It was the simple answer, wasn't it? Cillian Quinn had killed people for Rocket. Hell, almost everyone he knew had! Temp had assisted in body disposal and other unsavory things in the past but he'd never actually killed anyone. Not intentionally, anyway. Not with his own hands.[break][break]

He'd certainly beaten some people half to death, savored how bones cracked under his knuckles. Never enough to kill, though.[break][break]

"How do you deal with it?" The curiosity is there and honest as he asks bryan delarosa. Then he continues, to explain further. "Knowing you killed someone. I think I'd feel guilty even if I hated them."

"I was afraid of storms." Temp doesn't really see how this has anything to do with his questions. But he's sure that Bryan has a point. "After my mom and little sister died I would cry and scream the whole time one was happening." It was a little embarrassing to admit; both the small peak into his past as well as the admission. Temp felt bad for his dad for dealing with that on top of losing a daughter and wife.[break][break]

He had been studying a bit of psychology, the least emotional type of psychology, behaviorism. he always found it interesting since it helped him with training his pokemon, but he wasn't really the manipulative type to use it on people. Maybe Elisabeth Fiorelli was rubbing off on him in the worst way possible. [break][break]

"I think it's the first reason. You got exposed to it enough, and realized nothing bad would happen when it rained and got over it." He says "You'll get used to it once you do it enough." he says crossing his arms as he remembered his first time killing someone that set him on a darker path...' Stupid brat halla.'

Temp rubbed his chin, taking what the other was saying to heart.[break][break]

"You know, that makes a lot of sense." Is what he finally replied with. The more serious and pensive look from before faded away, melting into Temp's normal sunshine smile at the other.[break][break]

"Like, when I first joined Rocket, I did a lot of stupid Grunt work. Burying bodies and shit. Kind of freaked me out at first. But after you do it enough it's just another weight, like packing around a heavy box. Nothing special. If killing is like that, it shouldn't be too hard to get used to."[break][break]

Temp had always had that penchant for violence. It was why he and his husband got along so well. While he didn't take it to the extremes other Rockets did Temp got a certain gratification from both causing and being in pain.[break][break]

This had been an awkward and strange conversation, yet Temp still felt a bit lighter after. Giving bryan delarosa a grin, he clapped the other lightly on the back in a friendly manner.[break][break]

"Hey, at least monsters are fucking rad!" Does this mean he would qualify as a monster-fucker? Much to think about for later.[break][break]

Feeling a bit more confident, Temp decided to move the conversation along to stuff a bit lighter.[break][break]

"How's your big deer friend, by the way? He dropped his horns, right? Get them back yet?" Temp couldn't really remember too much about the circumstances of that. But if Temp could help one of his own, Temp would do it! And while he wasn't some legendary expert, maybe his silly knowledge of pokemon could help!
