It apparently hadn’t taken too long for his searches and reconnaissance to be sidetracked, in the grand scheme of things. Though his sight was the farthest from a strong suit of his, there was a flicker that caught his eye as he strode through the area, and after peering across the clearing to gain a better look, he gave a low, grumbling hum as he stopped in his tracks.[break][break]

The others in his wake followed suit, though one of them perked up upon hearing a swift, yet sharp whistle from him.[break][break]

”Oi, Crom,” he said, nodding towards the creature afar while reaching for a spare Pokeball. ”Gimmie a Water Pulse, would ya?”[break][break]

He received a short noise of affirmation before the water jetted along, and upon noting its collision with the Chandelure, lobbed the capsule within his hand towards it.[break][break]
